storEDGE allows you to control whether your dirty or damaged units can be rented. By default, dirty and damaged units cannot be rented, but you can make them rentable by selecting Yes in these settings. Selecting No to allow a dirty or damaged unit to be rented makes those units unrentable (they will not be listed in your available unit list in the move in or transfer modules). Additionally selecting No for damaged units will enforce that occupied units can't be marked as damaged until they are vacated. This helps ensure that you don't rent out units that are damaged.
To access your company's unit settings:
- Click the Corporate button in the upper right of your screen.
- From the Settings tab, click on the Software Settings tab and then the Units button.
Allow dirty units to be rented
- Select the Yes or No radio button to allow dirty units to be rented. Click >Facilities to reveal the list of facilities in your account. Check the box next to the name of the facility you want the yes or no selection applied to. Click Save.
