This article is relevant to users whose organization has enabled Storable ID.
With Storable ID, you can log into Storable Edge with a single user account instead of separate logins per app or facility. A new Single Sign On (SSO) dashboard has been created for this purpose and includes Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for enhanced security.
Create your Storable ID with MFA
If your account admin has enabled Storable ID for your organization, you will see a notification after entering your Storable Edge login credentials that you can create your Storable ID.
1. Click Get Started. |
|
2. Select I Do Not Have a Storable ID. |
|
3. Enter your First Name and Last Name. 4. Enter your Storable ID username, your email address, and password. Username and email address will be the same unless you share an email address with coworkers. Shared email address: If you share an email address with coworkers at your organization, you must create a separate username. Each username must be unique and formatted as an email address. The username doesn’t have to be a valid email but must be formatted as an email address (ex: your.name@yourcompany.com). Your company admin may have provided guidance about the username they want you to use. Password requirements: Passwords require at least one lowercase character, one uppercase character, one number, one symbol, and at least 12 characters. It cannot contain your first or last name or parts of your username. 5. Select a security question and enter your answer. 6. Click Create Storable ID. |
|
7. On the next screen, you’ll see a success message. Click Continue. |
|
8. Enter your login credentials and click Continue. |
9. Click Setup under your preferred Multi-Factor Authentication option and complete the setup instructions. You can find instructions for each MFA option in our article: MFA setup. Note: Depending on your account settings, not all MFA options shown in this screenshot may be available. Please be aware that copycat apps may be available in the App Store. Ensure you download the official app. Authentication apps typically do not cost anything.
10. Click Finish. |
You will be notified that your old Storable Edge username has been replaced with your new Storable ID username.
Sign in to your account with MFA
At future logins, you will log in using your Storable ID username and be asked to authenticate using your chosen MFA method. Log in to your account by entering your username and password as usual. You’ll then be prompted to enter your MFA code.
Email authentication
If you use email authentication, you’ll receive a code in your email inbox. Enter the code and click Verify. |
Security Logon
If there were screens you previously accessed by entering your Storable Edge login credentials, you will now use a PIN. You will be prompted to set your desired PIN at first use.
If you need to switch users, click Log In as a Different Use, and you will be redirected to the Storable ID portal to enter the new login credentials.
