Enabling online move-ins on your website - for SiteLink users

help_site_sitelink.png

This guide is intended for marketing website users who use SiteLink as their management software. If you do not use SiteLink as your software provider and you can't find what you're looking for, contact our support team for assistance.

You can add a Move-In button to your website’s units table if you’d like prospective tenants to be able to get started with their move-in right away. If you decide to enable a move-in button on your website, it will link directly to SiteLink Web Template and the move-in will be handled there. The move-in will appear in the Leads to Lease section of SiteLink myHub on the Follow Up & Reminders tab. It will be labeled as Web - Move In if the tenant previously had a reservation. It will be labeled as Walk-In - Move-In if the tenant did not have a previous reservation.

Enabling online move-ins

To enable online move-ins, you’ll need to adjust your SiteLink Web Template settings and your storEDGE website settings.

SiteLink

From Web Template, access the Web Template ECommerce Gateway tab. From within that tab, access the Online Move-Ins tab. Then, check the box next to  Enable online move-ins and save your changes.

storEDGE

From your Website Settings in the Corporate section of storEDGE, access your Units table settings. The first settings listed is Enable online move-ins. Select the facilities you’d like to edit (you might need to expand the Facilities link to list them all), and check the box next to Yes. Then, save your changes.

Once these settings are in place for both SiteLink and storEDGE, a Move in button will appear on the units table on your website for each unit group.
