Editing the Header and Footer of your website

In order to edit the header and footer of your website, you must have website builder access. If you do not have access to the full website builder, you can contact Support for assistance making changes at edgesupport@storable.com.

You can edit the Header and Footer of your Storable website from your website admin portal.

Pre-header

Preheader: Sticky

This pre-header section remains visible at the top of the page when scrolling; improving usability and reducing navigation effort within the builder.

Key Features:

Pre-header content and controls are always visible while scrolling.
Works seamlessly across pages and templates in the Website Builder.
Responsive support for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Header

Header: Logo and nav (new)

This template is similar to the Header: Logo and Nav option; however, the navigation items, other than primary and secondary buttons, are centered. The formatting when hovering over the navigation bar items and the facility group drop-downs have been updated.

The following settings can be modified:

Background styles

Standard - Uses the default color used throughout the site.
Inverse - Swaps the default background and text colors (e.g., from light-on-dark to dark-on-light)

Set Margins

Yes - The navigation bar will have whitespace in the margins on both sides.
No - The navigation bar items and colors will fill the width of the page.

Header: Template1

This template has a clean and minimal header layout, with the logo on the left and navigation aligned to the right. It can be sticky (remain visible on scroll), supports dropdown menus, and has a responsive design for mobile and tablet use.

Header: Template2

This template has a balanced, branding-first design with the logo and navigation grouped in the middle. It supports an optional call-to-action button (e.g., “Reserve Now”), can be sticky, and is responsive for mobile and tablet.

After adding one of these templates to a webpage, right-click the gear icon to toggle the sticky header setting and customize the background color and logo width.

Footer

Footer: Info and Logos

This template option provides much more space to customize the footer than the other footer options. If you add it to the Global Layout, it will be applied to every page of your website.

This section contains the following content:

Logo widget
Contact info section
Social media icons widget
5 image widgets - If you remove any image widgets, the remaining images will auto-center on the page.
8 text widgets - If you remove any text widgets, the remaining widgets will auto-center on the page.

The following settings can be modified:

Contact Details

The color of contact details - style colors, custom hex code, and gradient options
Contact details - Phone, URL, email, and address

Background

You can change the background of the entire footer section to use colors (style colors, solid custom hex code, or gradients), images, or an embedded video.

Overlay

You can set one of the following overlay types. If an image or video is set as the background, overlays will help ensure the content is legible.
- None
- Overlay behind the content area
- Full overlay

Footer: Quick Links

This template provides a clean, structured, three column visual footer layout designed to display quick links, contact information, and branding elements in an organized manner.

Key Features:

Multiple columns for quick links (e.g., About Us, Contact, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions)
Optional section for contact information and/or social media icons
Customizable background color, text color, and typography
Responsive layout for mobile and tablet
Supports adding copyright text and logos

Click Header/Navigation or Footer.
Drag and drop the Header or Footer option you want to use to the Global Layout.
To customize a header or footer, right-click the gear icon in the top right corner of the section.
Click Edit.
