The Gate Access report lists every active tenant and additional contact with a gate access code stored in the tenant's profile as of the current date, along with the current access status for the tenants.
Unit: The specific unit number associated with the gate code. Note that one tenant may have multiple units, all listed separately. Each unit for a single tenant can have a unique gate code or the same code. If no unit number is displayed, the person listed is an additional contact with an active gate code for the tenant in the previous row.
Tenant: The first and last name of the tenant or additional contact with the code.
Gate Access Code: The unique gate code used by the tenant or contact to operate the gate.
Locked Out: Indicates whether the tenant's access code is currently disabled from opening the gate.
Yes: The tenant is currently locked out (typically due to non-payment or other lease issues)
No: The tenant has active access
Locked Out Exempt: Indicates if the tenant is excluded from the general lockout rule.
Time Zone*: A code (0, 1, 2, etc) designating the time zone or schedule that governs the access code.
0: Often represents the standard/default access hours.
1, 2, etc: Often represent an alternative access schedule (e.g., 24-hour access).
See your gate software for the exact definitions of each code.
Keypad Zone*: A code (0, 1, 2, etc) designating which keypad or zone the access code is valid for.
0: Often represents the main gate keypad.
1, 2, etc: Often represents an auxiliary gate, building door, or a specific keypad zone.
See your gate software for the exact definitions of each code.
Duplicate Code: Indicates if the access code is used by more than one tenant or unit. Although duplicate gate codes are not allowed during the move-in process, duplicate gate codes may be imported during initial account set up. Those duplicates will need to be resolved if the affected tenants attempt to rent another unit.
*Time Zone or Keypad Zone columns may not appear on your Gate Access report. Their presence depends on the gate integration.
