Editing the layouts and elements of your Storable Website allows for more flexibility and customization than is available with the standard section and widget content options. Layouts and Elements can be used on the same page with sections and widgets. However, sections and widgets cannot be added to layouts.

In order to edit your Storable website layout or elements, you must have website builder access. If you do not have access to the full website builder, you can contact Support for assistance making changes at edgesupport@storable.com.

When editing layouts and elements, keep in mind how the page will look on all screen sizes, including tablets and mobile devices. The Google Chrome dev console can be used to imitate different device views. To open the console, right-click > Inspect, f12, or ctrl+shift+i .

Content Layouts

You can add pre-made layouts to your website pages by editing your website content. These layouts come in predefined options, but each section of the layout can be modified. 

To add a layout, click the plus sign in the menu on the left of the website editor.
Hover over Content Layouts, and drag the layout you want onto your webpage.

Accordion 

The accordion layout allows large content sections to be organized in a condensed and more readable format.

To add the layout, drag and drop Accordion to where you want it on the page.
Click anywhere on the layout and click Edit.
Click Add Accordion Item at the bottom of the accordion to add additional items.
You can drag and drop accordion items to reorder them. You can also delete an accordion item by clicking the trash can.
Check the Default Open box next to an item if you want the item’s content to be expanded by default. If this box is not checked, the item’s content will be collapsed within the accordion.
After you've entered your content and configured the accordion, click Save.

Elements

Elements such as images, text, and buttons can be added to layouts or sections by dragging and dropping them onto your webpage.
