Detailed breakdown of applicable fees (California facilities only)

California’s “Hidden Fees Statute,” SB 478, requires that advertised prices encompass all mandatory fees consumers will pay. The legislation, which went into effect July 1, 2024, requires that all mandatory fees are included in the all-in price and clearly displayed upfront. In connection, the total of any applicable fees and a breakdown of the fees will be shown under unit prices on your website.

If your facility is located in California, you’ll see the total amount of any applicable fees under unit prices on your website. If a customer clicks the total, a breakdown of applicable fees will be shown. This setting is enabled by default.

While we offer a product that is designed to help you run a better business, it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure that you are operating your business in a legally compliant way. We recommend consulting with your legal counsel regarding this new law.

Web Rate and In Store labels setting for the Units Table

We’ve created a setting that allows you to display Web Rate and In Store text next to discounted and standard prices in your website's Units Table. This feature clearly distinguishes between online and in-store pricing, leading to higher conversion rates for web reservations and move-ins.

Applicable fees disclaimer (California facilities only)

In connection with California’s new “Hidden Fees Statute,” SB 478, which requires that advertised prices encompass all mandatory fees consumers will pay, we’ve added a disclaimer message to unit prices on marketing websites for California facilities. The disclaimer indicates that fees may be applicable. Since fees may differ based on the unit selected, detailed fees will be shown at the earliest opportunity once the consumer chooses a specific unit.

While we offer a product that is designed to help you run a better business, it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure that you are operating your business in a legally compliant way. We recommend you consult with your legal counsel regarding this new law.

You’ll see + applicable fees under unit prices on your website.

Map zooming and pin clustering

We’ve added zooming and pin clustering to the Map widget. Visitors to your website can zoom in and out seamlessly using a trackpad or by pinching in and out on a mobile device.

You can enable pin clustering to group facilities on the map. Clicking on a cluster of facilities will zoom in on the map and separate the cluster into smaller clusters until the individual facility pins are visible.
