How do I order card reader terminal(s)?
If your facility is located in the U.S., you can purchase card reader terminal(s) on the Storable Payments store. The terminal includes everything needed to set it up and take payments. Note that the Lane 3600 is connected via ethernet and the Link 2500 is connected via WiFi.
Please do not order card readers from other online stores. Terminals available on the Storable Payments store have been configured to work with Storable Edge and Storable Payments.
If your facility is located in Canada, Storable will order your devices on your behalf.
How do I set up a terminal?
Once you receive the terminal(s), follow the directions in our Help Center article to set them up before taking payments: Card reader terminal set-up instructions.
How do I take payments on a card reader terminal?
Tenants can swipe, insert, or tap a credit card to pay through the card reader terminal. You can find instructions in our article: Taking payments with a Storable Payments card reader.
How do I save a card on file when taking a payment with a card reader?
You can save credit cards on file while processing a payment or a move-in from Edge by selecting your card reader and checking the box next to Save for future use.
You can also enroll a tenant in autopay when processing a payment with the card reader by checking the box next to Enroll the cardholder/account holder in autopay.

Several replacement fields specific to EMV transactions can be added to documents such as payment receipts. Learn more in our article: Document replacements.

Can I use one card reader terminal with multiple facilities?
No, you will need a unique terminal for each facility you plan to take EMV payments. The card reader terminals are configured to take payments at one facility.
What should I do if a terminal isn't functioning correctly?
Reboot the terminal if you are experiencing an issue with the terminal such as not accepting all forms of card reading (tapping, swiping, etc.)
