New tenant account categories
We added new tenant account categories. For the Personal account type, you can now select Other or Senior. For the Business account type, you can now select Commercial.
These categories are available in the following workflows:
- At Move-In
- When editing a tenant’s profile
- When creating Conditional Documents
- When creating Rental Promotions
- When filtering the Tenant list
Vehicle storage as document condition
We added vehicle storage as a document condition so you can automatically include required documents at move-in, move-out, and transfer when a vehicle is being stored.

Storable Insurance: Private insurance expiring within 29 days
We resolved an issue that prevented tenants from entering the Auto-Protect workflow if they submitted proof of private insurance set to expire in 29 days or less. The Auto-Protect process will now capture tenants who fall into this scenario, starting the day after their private insurance expires.
Tenants who did not previously enter the Auto-Protect flow due to this issue will enter the Auto-Protect flow and receive their initial Auto-Protect notice following this release.

Unit Activity page updates
- We added filtering of the Unit Activity page.
- We added the ability to print or export the report based on the filters selected.
- We moved the pagination from the top of the page to the bottom.
Tenant name on unread text messages
We resolved an issue that caused the tenant’s name to disappear when opening an unread text message in Edge.

Enhancements to your tenant insurance move-in flow (Storable Insurance)
We’re streamlining the collection of private insurance during move-in for operators using Storable Insurance and Auto-Protect. We’ve replaced the fields to collect private insurance information in the move-in flow with a reminder that the tenant will receive automated emails to submit it via the Proof of Private Insurance Portal.
Note: If you need to add a tenant’s private insurance details in Edge, you can still do so from the Tenant Profile after you complete the move-in.
Tenants should use the link in the Auto-Protect automated emails they receive to submit their insurance in the portal. Tenants must now upload their Insurance Declarations page to show proof of verifiable coverage.
Uploaded Declarations pages will appear on the Documents tab of the Tenant Profile.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
If you’re an account admin for your Storable Edge software, you can now upgrade your user logins for enhanced security using Storable ID with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Registering your organization for Storable ID is optional but recommended for improved security and PCI compliance.
Please read our pre-configuration guide for important instructions and a video walkthrough before enabling Storable ID. Once an Admin enables Storable ID, it will apply to all facilities and users on your account, and you will not be able to revert to standard login.

Snapshot tenant summaries
We’ve created a new AI feature, Snapshot, that you’ll see at the top of tenant profiles. Snapshot instantly aggregates critical tenant insights in a single click, including current rentals, payment status, delinquency status, recent transfers, preferred communication method, and documents pending signature.
You can change your Snapshot settings from your Corporate Settings.

storEDGE Reporting Improvements
We've been working to fix data accuracy issues and improve report performance, updating your most used, mission critical reports to provide greater reliability and consistency.
For enhanced accuracy, some reports will now reflect up to the prior day — using trailing-day data ensures the reports are complete, accurate, and consistent.
Your scheduled reports will now run between 9:30 - 10:00 a.m. ET to reflect data accuracy as of the prior day.

Default user role
We’ve created a default user role that will be pre-selected in the Role dropdown menu when creating new users. This default ensures each new user is assigned to a minimal access role if another role is not selected. You can edit the permissions associated with the default Minimal Access role or assign an existing role as the default role.

Storable Payments: Account updater
If you use Storable Payments, credit cards used for automatic payments will now be automatically updated in Edge when they expire or are otherwise updated. This eliminates the manual steps you previously had to take to update credit card information.
The Account Updater runs automatically overnight. When a card on file is replaced or updated, the new payment information is automatically applied in your software, keeping AutoPay running smoothly.

E-sign consent checkbox
We added a consent checkbox to the e-sign signature modal to comply with the E-Sign Act. Tenants must check I agree to use electronic records and signatures before clicking the “Adopt and Sign” button and signing their documents. The signer should click the Electronic Record and Signature Disclosure link for more information.

Storable Payments: Statements page
We’ve added a new Statements tab to the Storable Payments portal for Storable Payments customers. The Statements page shows the monthly statement for each facility on your account. Each statement includes a list of all deposits, fees, and adjustments for an entire month. Learn more in our article: Where can I find my Storable Payments data?

Delinquency Schedule linked on the Tenant profile
The Delinquency Tab of the Tenant Profile now displays each unit's Delinquency Schedule version. To access this tab, navigate to the Tenants Tab, select a tenant, and click on the Delinquency Tab. The Delinquency Schedule name will be shown under the unit number and link to the unit’s Delinquency Schedule.
If the unit is on a schedule that is no longer used, has never been used, or is on a previous version of a schedule that has been updated, a banner will notify you.
