Navigate Edge on a Mobile Device

Storable Edge

There are a few differences between navigating Storable Edge on a desktop and a mobile device. These differences help optimize your experience when using a smaller screen. For the best mobile experience, ensure your device is running the latest version of the operating system. Please note: The mobile experience is optimized for mobile phones, not tablets. Mobile optimization is supported in Chrome and Safari.

Navigation

The left-side navigation bar is collapsed on mobile to be unobtrusive when not in use. Tap the arrow to open or close the navigation bar.

On a mobile device, the Task List and Facility Switcher are located at the bottom of the screen.

The quick links located in the toolbar at the top of the page on desktop are located in the hamburger menu on mobile.

Tap the hamburger icon in the top right corner.

The menu will expand to access Storable Applications, Tenant, Payment, Retail, Move-Out, Transfer, Close Day, Corporate, and the user profile.

Dashboard tab

The Dashboard tab is stacked on mobile, allowing you to view the information more clearly on a smaller screen.

Mobile

Desktop

Use the dropdown menus to view the various data sets available on the Dashboard. There are two drop-downs; the first one includes Leads, Tenants, Units, and Past Due.

Scroll down the page to find the second drop-down menu and view Lead Activity, Unit Activity, Phone Activity, or User Activity.

Tenants list

Navigate to Tenants to view your customers.

You can search using the search bar or tap the filter icon to filter the page.

Select as many filters from the following filter categories as you'd like.

  • Tenant Status

  • Type

  • Size

  • Amenities

  • Account Type

  • Floor

  • Email Status

Tap Show Results.

You can scroll the second column horizontally to view additional tenant details, while the tenant names remain visible.

Tenant's Page

The tabs on a Tenant’s page (General, Documents, History, Ledger, etc) are always visible and horizontally scrollable at the top of the page to make it easy to switch between tabs.

The most common mobile-friendly action items are easily accessible in the middle of the page.

These buttons remain available across the different tabs, so you don't have to switch back to the General tab to access them.

The Text Tenant button will be visible below these quick access buttons if Two-Way Texting is enabled and you have permission to send text messages.

The Account Balance section is also visible without scrolling down the page or opening the Ledger tab. The Pay button is available right away at the top of the page for easy access.

The Rentals section is directly under the Account Balance section.

The Text Gate Code and Text Combination Lock Buttons will only be visible under the following conditions:

  • Two-Way Texting is enabled.

  • You have permission to send text messages.

  • Gate and Combo Lock templates for the facility are enabled.

  • Text Combination Lock only appears if a combination lock number exists.

To prevent accidental sends, you will be prompted to confirm with an "Are you sure?" prompt before sending codes.

Expand a Rental section to view more information about the rental. In the expanded Rental section, you can text or tap to copy the Gate Code or Combination Lock Number.

Tenant ledger

Tap the Ledger tab to view payment history and unit details. If the tenant has multiple units, there will be separate tabs for each unit on this page.

On the Ledger tab, the tenant name, account number, and status will always be visible. Column headers also remain visible as you scroll to help you easily navigate long transaction histories.

If the tenant has multiple units, you can tap the unit numbers to switch between units.

The most common mobile-friendly action items are easily accessible in the middle of the page.

To filter this list, click the Filters button.

Apply the filters you want, then click Show Results.
